It may be hard to believe, but the Shetland is the strongest of all horse breeds (relative to size), and can pull twice its own weight! Docile and intelligent, the Shetland stands between 7 and 11 hands, comes in a range of colors and sports a short neck, a small, dished face, wide-set eyes and tiny, alert ears.
